Cambridge Assessment is one of the foremost producers of examination question papers and support materials for the UK and international markets.

In 1999, as the culmination of a consultative project with CA, Cambridge Printing established a secure, state-of-the-art, digital printing operation in the heart of Cambridge. We now manufacture the papers for over a quarter of all examinations held in the United Kingdom as well as large volumes for international markets.

CA has very exacting requirements – 100% security, error free production, flexibility and on-time delivery. These requirements led us to the decision to invest in a fully digital production operation and we formed a partnership with IBM to create a custom-built solution – the result of which is unique in the world and is still a reference site to IBM.

We have continued to develop our relationship with CA, and through our in-depth understanding of our client’s needs we have developed tailor-made processes including on-line tracking and e-procurement. We will continue to invest in the latest state-of-the-art plant and machinery in order to ensure that the range of services we offer in the production of secure and confidential materials is second to none.
