Scope of registration

The design and production of multi-media and printed products, produced in a secure environment utilising digital and lithographic technology, for the Education and Assessment sector.
We achieved ISO9001 certification in April 2006. We have always embraced an ethos of consistent high quality, best practice working methods and excellent service, demonstrated by company wide participation in such initiatives as Vision in Print, Overall Equipment Effectiveness and our Skills Recognition Scheme.
One of our key objectives is to monitor our customers’ evolving needs in order to increase the range of services and products we can offer, and also to strive to exceed expectations in terms of quality and service. The process of achieving and implementing the procedures identified during our working towards ISO 9001:2000, means we now have a more formal system for achieving this objective.

Range of Products and Services

The product range included within the registration includes: the typesetting, illustrating, printing and picking and packing of examination and assessment materials, the design and print of glossy colour brochures, business stationery, prospectuses, annual reports and accounts, exhibition panels, web pages, newsletters, posters, banners, paper wallets and folders, display panels and wedding stationery, carriers, leaflets, presentation packs, bookmarks, bookjackets.

Quality Policy Statement

Our policy is to achieve consistent high quality, best practice working methods and excellent service. For exam papers and secure printing we aim to achieve 100% error-free production. To achieve our goals, we maintain and regularly review a quality management system to ISO 9001: 2000. We set and regularly review quality objectives and where possible assign measurable targets.

Quality Objectives

Our quality objectives are:
  • To always meet or exceed customers’ needs and expectations on quality, security and service at a market-competitive price.
  • To reinforce a culture of outstanding quality.
  • To continually improve our performance, our processes and all our systems, including quality and security systems.
  • To encourage all staff to contribute fully to improving quality and performance standards through effective staff appraisal and training.
  • To examine all aspects of our customer-facing operations, ensuring that customer satisfaction informs everything we do.
  • To minimise levels of waste and spoilage
Progress towards these objectives is monitored through responsibilities assigned to members of the management team.
