recognise Cambridge Printing as being at the
cutting edge of business efficiency.
In 1999, we introduced a far-reaching benchmarking
programme, and an Overall Equipment Effectiveness technique was
subsequently introduced. This technique provides feedback on the
efficiency of each piece of equipment, and the individual operator.
We also measure the percentage of deliveries made on time, and
our waste/spoilage ratios. On all three of these scores, our ratings
are considered exceptionally high.
