Case Study – Woodbridge School, Suffolk
www.woodbridge.suffolk.sch.uk
 Business Requirements
Woodbridge School is a co-educational school, taking pupils between the ages of four and eighteen. The school has its own
marketing department responsible for promoting the school and
its activities in order to attract new pupils – including students
from overseas – and maintaining communications with parents.
It is part of the Seckford Foundation – a charity whose objective
is the education of both the young and elderly.
The school has recently completed a project to build a new,
350-seat theatre, which will be hired out to theatre groups
and other organisations in the community.
 Communication Campaign
The prospectus is a marketing tool and is used as the first step
in the process of attracting future students to visit the school.
The website, in addition to being a promotional tool, also needs
to be a medium for teachers and parents. It thus requires an
editing tool which is quick and easy to use.
The new theatre will have its own website which will incorporate
an on-line ticketing system. Twice-yearly programmes, carrying
advertising, will be published.
