Case study – The Theatre Royal in
Bury St Edmunds

The Theatre Royal in Bury St Edmunds launched a restoration appeal in 2003 in order to recreate its historical Georgian features whilst at the same time providing an environment for contemporary modern audiences.
Cambridge Printing was commissioned to create a new independent identity for all the literature produced about the project, which would also sit comfortably with the Theatre’s corporate identity and which could be applied to a range of products including stationery, brochure and leaflets.

Clare Glazebrook, Development Manager for the project, said “The new look designed by Cambridge Printing creates a striking visual identity which people immediately associate with our restoration appeal programme.”
“Identity is more than just a logo – it is the visual interpretation of how you wish to be perceived by the outside world”
