Case study: Praxis
www.praxiscourses.org.uk
Praxis delivers knowledge-based training on
technology transfer issues and runs a variety of courses designed
by a committee comprising experts from universities, industry and
government who are actively involved in key aspects of
the commercialisation of research.
Although Praxis already had a website, it wanted
a more contemporary look and feel to the site, as well as one offering
a forum to its members which would enable them to communicate with
each other online.
Cambridge Printing was commissioned to develop a solution to these
requirements. We
constructed new functionality, including online registration which
was fundamental to their business, in order to begin the process of
moving the site from a ‘shop front’ to an ‘online
community’, and designed templates to create a more contemporary
appearance.
Maxine Ficarra, Praxis’ Programme Manager, says
“We
selected Cambridge Printing because of their flexible approach and
also because we were confident that the project management of the
re-design would run smoothly – a confidence which I am pleased
to say was fully justified” |
